As CEO, Sandy Rusera is tasked to lead Prime Energy to become the biggest local IPP in Rwanda, as well as expand the company in the region. Previously, Sandy worked at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning for more than four years, with his last position being the Director of Capital Markets and Investment Schemes. Sandy is graduate of Loyola University in Chicago with a Masters of Science in Finance.

As COO, Joseph Nsano is in charge of overlooking the finance, funds mobilization, and internal organization of Prime Energy. Joseph, a former banker, has a large experience in resource mobilization and project coordination.

Mr. Kris GAHIGA is an Electromechanical Engineer with over 25 years of extensive experience. He possesses a unique blend of technical, financial and legal skills and his experience covers the development, operation and the financial structuring of the hydro-power projects as well as the negotiation of the power purchase agreement with the Off Taker.

International hydropower expert with more than 20 years of experience. High-performing procurement specialist with 4years’ experience for energy projects. Financial expert with more than 20 years’ experience in financial and technical (hydropower and water management) areas.

Mr Sixte Ndekezi graduated in electrical engineering has 10 year in Operation and maintenance of the power plant, skills in repairing electromechanical power plant control devices.
